Valve is an important component in the piping system of petrochemical plant, its variety and quantity, is one of the main sources of leakage in the device, so the leakage requirements of the valve is critical. Valve sealing performance refers to the valve sealing parts to prevent media leakage. The main sealing parts of the valve are: the opening and closing parts and the valve seat between the anastomosis surface, packing and stem and stuffing box with the valve body and bonnet of the connection. The first leakage is called internal leakage, which directly affects the valve's ability to cut off the medium and the normal operation of the equipment. The last two leaks are called external leakage, that is, the medium from the valve leakage to the valve, which directly affects the safety of production, resulting in the loss of working medium and enterprise economic loss, environmental pollution, and will cause production accidents in serious cases. Especially for high temperature and pressure, flammable and explosive, toxic or corrosive media, the valve leakage is simply not allowed, because of the consequences caused by more serious than the internal leakage, so the valve must have a reliable sealing performance to meet the working conditions of the leakage requirements.
